Maybe it was just the 360 version, but the beta was super glitchy and not very fun. I think I'm gonna stick with Halo and Gears for my online gaming.

I also heard that the 64-person maps are exclusive for PC, which would be a big let-down for me if I was a console gamer. Is it true? Is it because the current generation consoles lack the memory or such to run the vast maps?

Yeah it's true. There is a 24 player cap on consoles because there is not enough RAM.

If they would have put vehicles in the beta like they did in the alpha it would be awesome but alas they did not :(

Well, they had vehicles on the Caspian Border map but lasted for 3 days.

The Alpha had only 1 tank and only 1 section.

They just added Caspian Border map for the open beta, which is still open until monday. But at least on the PC Euro side it was super laggy :( but do try it out. Jets, choppers n' all the juicy stuff in it.

So, did you guys get it? Game's been live for couple weeks now.

I got it yesterday and love it so far. Although I must admit my computer's getting outdated for this :( on HD resolution I'm running everything on low quality so that during intensive CQC and jet flighting my FPS won't be jittering too much. It's fairly different from what BF2 used to be. Only let-down has been the relatively low amount of different maps (9) and the bugs (I keep crashing to desktop), but I'm looking forward to the Strike at Karkand DLC and patches. BFBC2 was buggy at release too.

Feel free to add me as a friend in Battle log! Name's Syksy as you might've guessed :)
