It's...empty, not all that exciting.

And lame food, constant loss of muscle mass, and the constant chance of explosions.

Actually, assuming that technology had advanced enough to provide bulletproof habitats and one large enough to actually have fun in, I'd bet they solve the food issues and a training regimen to fight off the losing of muscle mass.

Possibly, but to do that I'd assume they would have to create some form of gravitational resistance on ship, with areas devoted to zero gravity research.

That could be done, I would think. Or at least have astronauts on a high calcium diet with regimented exercise periods?

Already done and they still lose muscle.

Meh. Its worth it. Somebody could toss a burger or taco and actually have it float in your mouth...And can you even imagine the possibilities with drinks?

Bullpup assault rifles, they're compact, maneuverable, and still accurate.
