Steampunk is actually hard to describe. It's like...a steampowered retro-futuristic take on the Victorian/wild West era. O_o

Are there eskimos in the Canadian mountains? O_o And do they sell pies?

Also, though I am not familiar with Steampunk very much, Crosswind is an excellent book in the genre.
