Binge-watching Babylon 5 to ease the suffering from sickness?

Side note: I'm really digging season 5. Sure, it's not quite as epic as Seasons 3 and 4, but man. Still dang good stuff. I'm especially digging the plot involving the Centauri (I just watched the Psi-Corps episode, so it was revealed that Imperial Palace Guards killed the survivor of one of the attacked ships)

Edit:

I just finished the series. Never have I been so sad to watch a final episode than that one. Just...wow.

I'm currently watching A Call to Arms and will start Crusade after that. Have you seen that, and if you have, what did you think of it?

Yeah that series finale... So much dust got in my eyes when I watched it...

CtA and Crusade are okay. Not great, and the fact that the production studio changed during the filming of the series is evident, but it had a lot of potential that never really got explored.

So far (5 episodes in) Crusade is surprisingly good. I think I have a good handle on where JMS wanted this show to go, and I think it could have been fantastic had it taken off. Sadly...TNT killed it. Oh well...

Also, I saw Legend of the Rangers. Definitely not good stuff, but I'm inclined to think that Grey 17 Is Missing was worse. lol

I don't know whether I agree or not, but I lean toward LoR being worse if only for that idiotic weapons interface with the punches and kicks...

Is it problematic that getting my Stormwall caused me to break out in happy maniacal laughter?

Yeah....

VR gun system? Cool idea.

Firing weapons by performing punches and kicks? ....wat.

On the other hand, Andreas Katsulas did a fantastic job of acting in it, as usual. So there's that.

Any other good science fiction shows I should get invested in?

Yeah Andreas Katsulas makes everything better.

My only problem was that G'Kar had already given the "There are forces in the Universe older and more powerful than you can possibly imagine" speech before, and Rangers felt like a re-tread.

I did like the way he pointed out that too much emphasis was being placed on the second half of "We live for The One, we die for The One" and not enough on the first. That was deep.

Not a lot of great speculative Sci Fi shows out there that made it past a season. You could try Earth 2 which I believe is still on Netflix... it was a show that got canceled but it was interesting. There's also Space: Above and Beyond if you can find it. There's Firefly, of course... but while the show was pretty good, I think it's a bit overrated.

I think you're being a very generous person. >_>

Problematic? I thought that was a rhetorical question... Of course not! Maniacal laughter is exactly the proscribed reaction...

I've tried a couple of times to get into it but it just hasn't grabbed me. I've heard it's really great though. It was on Netflix... might still be.

Calendars are overrated?

I got a job in the northwest. Specifically in Portland, Oregon, a city I rather like (for it's usable public transport and fairly mild weather among other things). But since I'm in Texas, moving becomes a bit of a problem...

Do you have any tips/tricks for a cross-country move? I don't have that much stuff to move (could probably fit in the back of a hatchback), so I'm tossing the idea of driving it there myself.

I'd say yes... but without them I'd fall to despair from having no holidays to look forward to, since I can't keep track of the little ones we get days off for.

Gratz on the new job!

I'm afraid I really don't... I've lived in the same area my entire life... But I will say from the short distance moves: The money spent on a moving van is well worth it.

So much surface area on larger models?
