Decisions that just seem to reduce efficiency?

I'm sure you've seen this by now, but Glen Larson has died. :(

What are your thoughts on the various incarnations of Battlestar Galactica relative to each other?

What is the job description of middle management, Alex?

Actually I hadn't... thanks for letting me know...

Glen Larson's Battlestar is very much "Mormons in Space." Much of the terminology and concepts for the original show were borrowed from elements of LDS theology. (Not surprising, since Mr. Larson was LDS.) The Quorum of Twelve, the governing body, is also the name of the Quorum of Twelve (Apostles) in LDS Church leadership. Some of those elements crossed over into the Re-imagined BSG but not many.

I'm glad he was acknowledged in the credits for the new series. I had heard that there was to be a BSG feature film, following the style of the original, and I hope his passing doesn't bring that project to a halt.

Plus Dirk Benedict and Lorne Greene. Can't go wrong with that combo. :D

How do you feel about the premise of the upcoming Netflix series co-written and co-directed by the Wachowskis (of The Matrix fame) and J. Michael Straczynski, Sense8?

I for one am excited to see another JMS show. The premise itself is definitely weird, but reminiscent of the stuff regarding telepathy from Babylon 5. Which is a-ok in my book.

I hadn't heard about it, but I'm with you... anything involving JMS is likely to be good. Sadly, in a world where there was Legend of the Rangers, it isn't a guarantee...

Nope. Just a dark corner in the grocery backroom, where a foul smell leaks out of a hole in the wall. I almost fell in that hole, the other day. O_o

Boycotting shopping locales so that Black Friday will stop being on Thanksgiving day?

Pebble in an ocean, my friend. Early shopping is starting to become as much a part of traditional Thanksgiving as turkey and pumpkin pie.

A church revival as a result of a squirrel going crazy in a church?

Fine. But you're not allowed to try and get me to vote for the same reasons. >_> Plus, I had to work this year. Chopped my happy Thanksgiving in half. Violently.

Christmas times? <3

@Emwok:

Haha, nice. Maybe that should become a thing...

@Chozon:

I love Christmastime, especially traditional Christmas carols.

@Arch:

OMG I love that image. Thanks for posting it! That should become my avatar...
