My approach to games is simple - games are there to have fun. If you're playing a game and you're not having fun, then either 1) you're doing it wrong, or 2) the game just isn't your cup of tea.Chozon1 wrote:I used to play both DOTA and LoL with the aim to get competition-level good, since that's one of the few game genre's that has translated into real-world competitions with success, and I figured sticking my fingers into that pie would also validate me as a pro-gamer.
But I stopped playing for reasons, and now that I aim to start it up again, I find myself curiously reticent for the very reasons you've mentioned. I know a loss, even with bots, will bring down all manner and flavor of poopoo upon both my head and face. O_o And thus after a two day 13 GB download, the game has down little but take up bit space. XD
So that should be your main questions - do you want to play the game because you find it fun? If not, then why bother doing it in the first place? If you're in it for the money, then you had better enjoy it - otherwise, your time will be better spent doing something else for fun and profit.
I haven't played it yet. Do you recommend it?Chozon1 wrote:Shovel Knight?
