Is it worth getting a Blu-Ray player and a high def monitor on my new computer.

I have no idea.

Just in general, would it be worth the money??

Again, it depends.....

Do you intend to get Blu-ray movies at any point?

A high-def monitor isn't really worth it IMO, but that's cause I'm a super frugal computer builder.

Of course...

I'm kind of extravagant with computers when I can afford it.

Do you know if HL2 has a filter or not?

Well, if you can afford it, then go for it.

Yes and no.

The blood can technically be filtered, but it requires using the console to set decals to off.

Language can't be filtered through any means that I am aware of.

I might plead that the chunks from the flood count as gore.

And that the blood isn't the problem of HL2. Ravenholm is nasty with flinging saw blades.

But of course, as a nice guy, I never did that. *halo over head*

Should I save $5 for HL1 or $25 for the Orange Box?

Get the Orange Box, what ever you do. I've been playing the games from that pack for over a year. ^___^

Know any good HL2 mods?

Should my next writing be a CCG fan-fic fantasy or a ghost killing paranorm type?
