I just got my hands on one from Kijiji for $2 but it's missing it's head!)
I have an idea on how to fix that:

Problem solved! Good going. An elegant solution, and hey, no one else has THAT particular amiibo!

Well, the Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle is a real thing! It was meant to be revealed at E3 but images got leaked today. The estimated launch date is August-September 2017.

To be fair, they are still unofficial images, yeah? I mean, they DO look legitimate, but the Internet has been fooled before. So I'm still taking a wait and see approach.

No, its legitimate. Here's what Mario Wiki says "Following the leak, official sources at Ubisoft confirmed the authenticity of the project and provided further images of the title." And here's the source that Mario Wiki used to go with that statement.

It is the only site on the entire Internet (that I can see) who is claiming that full image came from Ubisoft directly. Why would one of the biggest companies in the whole game industry send a confirmation image about a non-announced game to a random website? So... I have to put my eggs in the "whole Internet" basket over a site I've not heard of before, personally.
Not saying it isn't real, but 100%
definitely not confirmed.

It's ok

I just think it's confirmed from what I've seen, that's all.

I agree, it's very, very, very likely real. For better or worse, lol.

More info on Switch Online Service.
1. Having to pay for the service is getting delayed to 2018, so more free service! Yay! No estimated time in 2018 though, it just says 2018.
2. The prices have been confirmed. It is $3.99 for 1 month membership, $7.99 for 3 month membership, and $19.99 for 12 month membership. The price for the whole year is very cheap.

I'm really happy they kept the price low.
The other nifty thing is apparently you'll have access to at least some VC games for "free" as long as you're a subscriber. (I say "free" because you're already paying, but it IS a nice bonus!)
Only a little over a week until E3! Can't wait to see what Nintendo shows off in their video presentation.

Yeah, they were going to have access to 3 free games, but they've dropped that now.

Nintendo Mini Direct was yesterday.
Most of the games shown off here were either 3rd party titles, updates to existing games, or ports from Wii U and/or 3DS games. All games will be coming between this month and the summer.
Not as strong of a lineup of games as 2017 had, but some people have been saying Nintendo might have some bigger games up its sleeves to reveal at E3.
