Jack wasn't sure if Stephen was being serious or not, the only thing he had to go on was the glare he gave.
Perhaps he was just thinking real hard about the coffee I said I would get him. Jack thought with a near silent chuckle. Well there isn't really a reason not to greet them now, though I guess I'll just keep quiet till Conner mentions us, then I will come into view and say hello. "Got any questions you want to ask them Stephen?" Jack said quietly enough to where only his friends could hear.

Tempted to say his name was Speed McAwesome, Conner nodded and said "My name's Conner. We just escaped the terminal through the security door." He paused...the man looked trustworthy enough, but Conner was hesitant to blab the exact number of CCG'ers around the corner. "I do indeed have a few friends around the corner, as it were. What are you doing here?"

"Conner, huh?" A disarming smile broke over his face. "Well, I'll be. Name's Conner as well. Last name, that is. Speed Conner." A large and calloused hand was extended forward.

"We're just trying to keep our head above water until this washes over. Why don't you come with us?"

There's always THAT guy, thought Conner. He shakes the man's hand. "I'm uncertain as to what our plans are actually, at the moment. I'd have to talk to my friends. Thanks though."

((For the record, I'm going to be without computer access until Mondays. Visiting fambly. If you guys need to kill me off, or mute me or whatever, it's OK. ^_^))

I see no harm in just saying "hi" and passing by Luke whispers to Stephen and jack

"Well, Conner, just holler for Speed when you decide." He tipped an imaginary hat and headed back towards his limping friend.

Stephen shrugs as soon as the man is out of earshot. "So we're shooting them right?"

"No" Luke Hisses at Stephen
"Why the Heck would we do that??? anyways, you only have What, 8 shots left in that gun o' yours and shooting two random Nonaggressive civilians is totally the way to go..." luke says his voice dripping with sarcasm

As Dietrich and Speed continue on, the thumping on the door behind you grows stronger.

I check the door to try and determine whether it can hold out for a while longer.

The door is holding for now. It's a heavy door, and can take a decent amount of punishment, but the noises are starting to increase and you can see the door quiver.

Well, the chat with the other two folks went well. I wouldn't mind meeting them again in a more safe setting.
"I guess we better get moving soon, the hallway seems to be clear of zombies... it might be a good idea to take a look at that fire emergency box now." Jack said before pausing to think for a moment. "Oh right, Chris did you hear anything from the radio?"

Stephen shrugs. "I don't know those two. I have no reason to trust those two. They so much as glance at me funny, they're both dead"

He keeps his pistol at a low ready as he turns the corner.

"Shooting them seems...unnecessary." Though Conner was still mildly miffed that his name was actually Speed.

"What's the plan peoples? Do we go med center, security, or try to get the bleeps out of dodge?" Conner felt for some reason as if he'd been mentally checked out for a long time, and lost the flow.
