The only question I have is "what took so long?" Seems to me that, with a fighting game, a boxer would be a natural addition.

After all, we've got a plumber, a race car driver, a penguin and an omnivorous sentient ball of pink bubblegum. Why not a boxer?

This, combined with the next Mario Kart, are serving as good incentives for me to look into getting a WiiU.

I keep wondering if they'll add more characters from the Metroid franchise. Playable Ridley?

I don't think metroid is known enough for there to be more than just samus. Maybe a space pirate but I don't think that will happen. I'm just shocked they have ever had Lucas.

Well, Metroid Prime did sale 1.49 million copies in America alone,
and Metroid does have 11 games so... yes it's actually quite well known.
There just aren't really many well known characters in the series that would work as a character in Smash.
There also hasn't been any news on another Metroid game for quite a while, so it's been a bit quiet lately.

Earthbound on the other hand, is much more well known in Japan, than the US. (or anywhere else for that matter.)
So the third game was only released in Japan, and that one had Lucas.
So with Nintendo being a Japanese company, I suppose they just went for it.
(Which I don't mind at all, Lucas became one of my favorite characters to use. )

Looks like Smash Bros is going to have a ninja character.
(Then again, Sheik was always a kinda like a ninja.)

To be honest, based on what I see of greninja, I think he is going to be a semi-clone of lucario, based on his moveset.

Up B: Recovery Dash
Down B: Counter
Basic B: Charging Projectile

Regardless, he looks like he might be interesting to play as. As for characters I would like to see them add, even though they have probably shown all the new ones, I really just want bowser junior to be added. He is perfect for smash, and yet Rosalina got priority over him somehow... (Rosalina is pretty cool though)

Not exactly sure how that would work, but okay. Honestly, when I saw the shrunken I thought it was gonna be Naruto or something. It looked like a Rasengan, so..........XD
