Extrapolating from current events I suspect it's going to look a lot more like Neuromancer than I'm comfortable with. I'd honestly rather see a catastrophic asteroid impact than that. I feel like we're approaching a philosophical critical point beyond which human culture will be sent down a particular path as we expand into the galaxy.

I want to propagate a culture that views the highest human expression for each individual as its end goal. I fear that we will propagate a culture that views the continual increase of corporate profits as the only goal.

Calling someone a poop face?

Generally unproductive. If you must insult someone for no reason then own it. Leave them in tears. Otherwise, what was your point?

Distraction, humor, insulting them without actually hurting them...I can think of a lot of reasons, actually. Plus, I'm more liable to respond to "poop face" than any "serious" insult.

Gorilla Glue?

There are better ways to distract people that don't involve puerile insults.

I know what puerile means. I did take health class you know.

I always seem to lose the lid for my Gorilla Glue. Or some of it will have glued the cap to the bottle, and when I open it it snaps off.
