I just very recently started reading Screwtape Letters by C.S. Lewis. It's letters written from the point of view of a senior demon to a new demon basically showing what tricks the enemy uses to get to us. It's a very interesting and a good way to learn how to guard yourself.

Cracking the Communication Code: The Secret to Speaking Your Mate's Language by Dr. Emerson Eggerichs. It is a wonderful book that my wife and I are going through together. It is a good follow up to Love and Respect. It is a book that helps develop better communication with your spouse. It looks at scripture to help answer the question of how you should act toward your spouse.

I love that book. It's written in such a unique perspective that it really makes you think about every action you do.

Well I finished Jurassic Park about a week ago. It's interesting how my views have changed. I read the book over 20 years ago back when I didn't know Jesus. While reading it, I kept thinking to myself, "This doesn't get me excited anymore. Evolution is a farce." It prompted me to read a book that's been sitting on my bookshelf for quite awhile now: The Case for a Creator by Lee Strobel. I've read The Case for Christ and loved it. Also learned a lot too. Thus far, The Case for a Creator is great. I think I'll read all of Lee Strobel's "The Case for" books now.

Right now I'm reading Blood Meridian by Cormac McCarthey. I'm about 50 pages in and the style is all that's keeping me going at this point, though I hear up and down it's the preeminent novel of American literature so I expect it'll pick up soon. Did any of you happen to read it? What did you think? Go light on the spoilers!
