Just finished The Time Machine by H.G. Wells. Wow. Weird and creepy and really fun all at the same time.

I had to read several books by an author from that time period. Also read War of the Worlds, The Island of Dr. Moreau, and The Invisible Man. His writing is rather dark.

I'm reading through the Bible a few pages at a time. You'd be amazed at how much scripture you can enjoy over the course of a week, month, and year. Try it sometime.

I used to be an avid reader. Over 1000 books read. But for the past few years because all the surgeries I've had plus other rl stuff, I find myself not reading as much. This week, I began reading one of my favorite books by one of my favorite authors: Jurassic Park by Michael Crichton. It's been over 20 years since I read it. I find it's a little slower this time thanks to heading over to to Wikipedia with Crichton's references :)

I've read that 3x so far. Very cleverly written. Lots of information and content. Plus it's almost all about the 80s. Although it has the "good vs evil" story and the romance part is nice, it has a mainstream secular agenda to it that isn't Christian.
