I got Morrowind GOTY edition for $5 in a sale last year. It's pretty fun, but the graphics aren't as good as I'd hoped they would be. I have only played Morrowind, but I've heard many say that it was/is the best game in the series.

Sorry to step into someone else's thread, but if you want to improve Morrowind's graphics, there are a few mods that you can look into. Two I tend to use whenever I play is called Better Bodies and Better Heads. I won't include a direct link (since it's possible to have the characters be fully nude, and they have screen shots on their Web site) but I will include a link to a site where you can follow a link to the download. You can find it and other mods right here.Emwok wrote:I got Morrowind GOTY edition for $5 in a sale last year. It's pretty fun, but the graphics aren't as good as I'd hoped they would be. Oh man. I love Page 5. I opened the book and read that, and I was just blown away by the awesomeness. XD More games need a Page 5.ArcticFox wrote:There may very well be, but the philosophy of Page 5 says we must not complain about them, but accept the challenge and surge forward.
I was mostly asking because I hear a lot of 40K players complain about it, and it seems like Warmachine wouldn't be immune. And because I watch batreps from one group, and this one guy never seems to lose. I wanted to double check before I attributed that to talent and masterful planning. XD

Nah, I'm still working on mastering Russian. I don't need another linguistic project.Emwok wrote:I got Morrowind GOTY edition for $5 in a sale last year. That's the RPG, right? Nah. I prefer to stay in AD&D.Chozon1 wrote: Oh man. I love Page 5. I opened the book and read that, and I was just blown away by the awesomeness. XD More games need a Page 5.

As for the imbalance thing... Warhammer suffers from it because it's an immensely complex game which had codexes for various armies that may or may not even be written with the current rule set in mind. Too easy for there to be unintended broken options and balance problems.
Warmachine is different in that all the army lists and the main rulebook are from the same edition and always will be. The rule set itself is simpler and armies are designed to be built around Warcasters, which provides a much tighter control over power level.

Warmachine: Tactics
I'm actually looking somewhat forward to it...doubt my compy will be able to handle it. XD
So basically, if someone in Warmachine complains about an overpowered list, they just need to go home and take a nap?

I dunno about the overpowered list thing... I mean, I get that Privateer Press is trying to avoid it by making ALL lists power lists and thus leveling the playing field, but that doesn't mean it must be impossible to break the game.
