I agree.

The first half of The Bourne Identity. Naturally, I've heard a lot about these movies, but I'd never seen any before now. So far, I like it. The action is fun, and the whole amnesia thing adds a nice touch (even if it might be a cliche, I suppose), and I love how Bourne can speak all these languages and do all this cool stuff almost without thinking about it. The only thing I haven't liked so far is the romance. That's hardly any surprise, though; I rarely like movie romances, and I could see this one coming a mile away (I suppose it didn't help anything that there was a picture of them kissing on the box

). So, yeah. I'll save final judgement until I see the ending, but so far it's pretty good.

You realize that it's based on one of the most intelligent spy novels written outside of Le Carre's canon? It's amazing...

Yeah, I guess that's the main reason it's so good. I intend to read the books sometime, when I can get ahold of them.
I finished Bourne Identity, and I like it the whole way through. Again, the romance makes me yawn, and I wish they could've explained a couple things a bit better, but overall I'd say it's one of the best action movies I've ever seen. Soon I'll be watching the next one ^_^

I just saw Platoon. Wow. Just wow. That movie... I am awestruck. Now, after this and Salvadore, Oliver Stone is one of my favorite directors, right up there with Scorcese, Fincher, Aronofsky, and Cronenberg. And I say it again. Wow.

The Prestige
It was entertaining, but the ending didn't surprise me much.
