You remind me of those people in soccer who go out of their way just to get header. They run half way across field, dive, and hit it and it goes like 2 feet.
Phe, I was serious, this was an upper class steakhouse I worked at over the summer.
I am free, no matter what rules surround me. If I find them tolerable, I tolerate them; if I find them too obnoxious, I break them. I am free because I know that I alone am morally responsible for everything I do - Robert A Heinlein
That's a lie in my opinion. If you don't feel pain, your probably on drugs, which comes from a need to feel good about yourself, which is basically weakness. So NOT feeling pain is weakness.
Pain is a blessing. If you feel pain, you know somethings wrong.
If I sneaked up behind you, and started sticking knives all in you, and you didn't feel it, how would you know? My blades are sharp, and I'm stealthyzors.
You wouldn't. Because you'd be dead.
Now let's run the scenario again:
I sneak up behind you, and slowly start to stick a blade in your clavicle, you scream and turn around. You don't see me, because I'm that stealthy, but you know someone tried to stick you. So you live.
I am free, no matter what rules surround me. If I find them tolerable, I tolerate them; if I find them too obnoxious, I break them. I am free because I know that I alone am morally responsible for everything I do - Robert A Heinlein
