I'd say yes. I've built several farms, a lottery machine, the starting gate for the race track, on an old server I also built a finish line that would close after the first person came in. One time I developed this cool vending machine apparatus to sell high value stuff securely. I recently invented a sugar cane farm which is better than any I found on YouTube.

I've never been interested in elevators though... someday maybe

auto-farms all the way. I like redstone/problem-solving. I dislike repetitiveness and manual labor

mmmm. Small town? In town, not in the country. I've never really lived in the country, but I did live on the edge of town on a 5 acre plot, that was ok. I'm not really crazy about going outside... But I'd probably choose country over big city.
