Perhaps so. So far, not every item I've picked up is bound...generally spekkin', only quest reward items are bound...when you pick what you want you get a "warning: item will be bound to you and can no longer be sold or traded" speech pop up. They also don't appear in the sell window.Kendrik wrote:Also, from my limited experience, I think that there may be a misunderstanding in how bound items work.
The items I picked up were reserved for me, but they were not bound until equipped.
Implication: Nobody could scoop up the items I rightfully earned before I get to them, BUT I can then give or sell them to others so long as I do not equip (and thereby bind) them to myself.

Call of Duty: Black Ops
I looooooved this game's story. Seriously.
But I'm really tired of a game's scripting getting in the way of me, which pretty much every Call of Duty has a problem with. It's not something I see from other games, either. Not a fan of getting shoved around or seeing glitching animation in a game, simply because I'm in the wrong spot. :/
Otherwise, totally awesome.

You were telling him about Buddha, you were telling him about Mohammed in the same breath. You never mentioned one time the Man who came and died a criminal’s death...

Halo: Reach
My brother and I picked it up for an overnight rental, wanting to beat the campaign on the ubercheap ($2 to beat a campaign = win). We only got to about halfway through the seventh mission (of ten, I reckon) before sleep decided to take over.
Whatever the case... I love the more cinematic feel to the campaign. Also, overall presentation seems highly polished. That said, when playing, even with the changes, it very much feels like Halo.
Space mission caught me by surprise, though.

Eleven missions (secret mission is secret
).
But yeah... that space mission? The end of it took me two hours in co-op (or something). Neither of us are bad players, it's just... we weren't exactly on the same page half the time. xD

Afraid of Monsters: Director's Cut for about 3 hours this afternoon. It's quite a long mod and quite unnerving. I wonder how close I am to the end. If by that time I still want more, I can load an earlier save and take a different path and play more levels, there are supposedly 4 endings to the game.

Secret mission? Gonna have to buckle down to knock out the rest of campaign today, then. As for the space mission, Gabe and I got the three minutes or less on Heroic or higher trophy. Assuming we're talking the one that felt like Battlefront, we knocked it out in no time. The rest of the mission, inside the thing, got hairy from time to time, but I don't think it took more than an hour (we beat six missions in as many hours, probably... not bad for not playing Halo in forever... and going straight to Legendary with the impossibly resilient Elites that refuse to die).Drewsov wrote:Eleven missions (secret mission is secret).

Legendary is brutal in Reach. I've got 3 more levels to go in my attempt to get the solo achievement and I'm not looking forward to it.

Assassin's Creed. I stabbed a good two dozen civilians... Mostly because that's more effective than trying to die if you want to reset. And a few of them just because Altair is a terrible assassin and decided to stab them instead of the guard right next to him. >_>
And Killing Floor, which in contrast to the above, I consider a great game. I actually enjoy this more than Left 4 Dead for my co-op zombie killing needs.

I was referring to the final room inside the ship.Kendrik wrote:Secret mission? Gonna have to buckle down to knock out the rest of campaign today, then. Those last three levels are a pain on Heroic, anyway.... so I don't envy you whatsoever. XDSpartan_117 wrote:Legendary is brutal in Reach. I've got 3 more levels to go in my attempt to get the solo achievement and I'm not looking forward to it.
It's not so much the Elites as it is the upgraded versions of the Elites, the swarms of Brutes chucking explosives, the Skirmishers sniping you whenever you try to get a shot off, and the Hunters charging you en masse.Pheonix wrote:Guys...

Haha actually I've already finished the last two levels on Legendary. I always do the hardest levels first when I play on the highest difficulty, and I'm quite glad I don't have to experience those levels again.

Makes sense. It sucked. We destroyed it anyway.Drewsov wrote:I was referring to the final room inside the ship.

Also, Reach was the last game I played.
And by "played," I really mean, "finished." Ended up playing the last two levels more or less solo (my sister played moving spawn point and occasional taker of pot shots). Crazy stuff.
