It's a full-fledged framework. It is a sort of hybrid MVC pattern framework that comes with built in field validation and conversion stuff. The beauty of it is that it separates concerns very strongly... No Java code on the view pages. There's plenty of component libraries available for it and most of them implement AJAX features for you without you ever having to manage any of the AJAX work yourself.

There are two implementations of JSF out there: Oracle's (they call it Mojarra) and Apache MyFaces. We use Mojarra here but they're both good. We also use the Primefaces component library.

Actually, our repository is public. All of our portlets are implemented using JSF.

Space Hulk?

I had the old tabletop game form the late '80s, and a very simple computer game version from the '90s. I don't know anything about the new one.

As I recall, the story was basically the same for both... A squad of Terminators making its way through an ancient derelict starship killing Tyranids and completing objectives.

Using Blender?

Never heard of it before but it looks interesting...

Is there anything I need to know when painting metal vs. plastic?

Not really, the approach is basically the same. Just be aware that you'll want to wash the metal parts before priming them because there may be residual oils from manufacturing remaining on them. (That's also true of plastic but I've found it to be more of an issue with metal.)

Assembly is also more of a pain because you must use super glue since model cement isn't an option. I usually pin my metal models together.

Ok. I did that, and even went so far as to let my primer cure for 24 hours. Though...how do you pin a metal model? I don't have a hobby drill. I didn't need it on the Black 13th, but my Squire might need it.
