The only qualms I'm having is what the final message will be about lying - so far, it seems like they're saying lying works to get you out of trouble. I'll be watching the rest tonight, so we'll see.
Haven't seen that movie in a while...so I'm trying to remember how it ends. Cute movie, but I'm pretty sure he gets away with everything.

(sry bout the double post)

Finished Big Fat Liar last night, and my opinion: They could have handled it better. They made their point with Marty Wolf (Giamatti is AMAZING), but I think they should have driven the point home more with Jason. At least he told the truth at the end....

Resident Evil: Extinction - It was okay. I'm not really a zombie/horror fan. The action scenes were cool, though.

I liked Happy feet, but thought it was stupid to put issues adults should be dealing with in a kids movie.

The last movie I watched was...I can't really remember. I heard part of the Little Vampire though.

You were telling him about Buddha, you were telling him about Mohammed in the same breath. You never mentioned one time the Man who came and died a criminal’s death...

Punch Drunk Love - Very strange, and I haven't quite figured out as to whether or not I like it or not. It's either one of the weirdest movies I've ever seen, or just plain brilliant. :?

I've actually watched three movies recently.

300. Rating: R. I give it: 6/10
It really wasn't that great. The atmosphere really could have been better. The action was well done, though. I loved the slow-mo action scenes, showing Leonidas slashing his way through the opponent. The sex scene was a bit pointless, I'll admit any day. And while the meeting of Xerxes and the hunchback in the whore house WAS an essential plot scene, they could have done without the nudity and the lesbians.

The Milagro Beanfield War. Rating: R. I give it: 8/10
This movie surprised me. In a good way. Think of it as Napolean Dynamite, in a sense. It begins making absolutely no sense. No storyline appears to even exist, and it's just random scenes of a random town in a random location. But, as the storyline unfolds, it's a remarkably entertaining experience. I counted 7 f-bombs, which is the only reason for the R rating. Otherwise, you'll encounter characters such as...An old 90+ year old who speaks with saints, a specialist cop who will do anything to stop the main character from growing his beans (played by Christopher Walken), several old men with guns, and a city boy adjusting to life in the desert. Give it a watch, if you can ignore the slight language problem.

Interview With The Vampire: The Vampire Chronicles. Rating: R. I give it: 4/10
This artsy/pseudo horror flick has few things going for it. One, it's fun to add your own commentary. Two, it's starring Brad Pitt and Tom Cruise. Take that any way you like it. The movie was almost pointlessly stupid. It's what you get when you cross A Beautiful Mind with Van Helsing, minus all the big action sequences. The acting was merely O.K, the nudity was somewhat pointless, and the storyline was shoddy and thrown together. Rent it, if anything.

Say Anything...

I'll say it. I like John Cusak. I don't know why. It doesn't get better than High Fidelity, in my book.

The Last Unicorn.

Finally, I feel cultured ^_^ A good movie, like Pixar in that it's a good movie for kids as well as adults, is enjoyable, and has good messages throughout. The ending was almost anime-like, though....

Good, but it was still just an action movie.

The Darwin Awards3/10. I don't recommend it. Poor dialog, the special effects could have been a whole lot better, not to mention all the objectionable material. One character wasn't even necessary, and do we really need for the ridiculously long introduction? I found it just rummaging through the movie stores comedy collection hoping to find something worthwhile. Sadly, I did not.

Next7/10. Good movie, Cage did a good job with this one. Plot was interesting, and overall it was just entertaining to watch. Though the ending disappointed me, which is why I didn't rate it higher.

Fantastic Four:Rise of The Silver Surfer6/10. Just your average movie, involving four superheroes trying to live in a normal world. Some of the dialog seemed "scripty" if you know what I mean. Some parts didn't sound like what an actual person would say. Good special effects, etc (I'm tired if you can tell).
