“Duper” Blends Strategy and Deception in New High-Stakes Trailer

Today, developer Curio Research revealed an action-packed new trailer for Duper, a free-to-play social multiplayer game where players must battle for resources, build alliances, and outsmart their opponents to emerge victorious. Duper is available now on mobile devices and on PC via Steam and through the official web browser.

Duper is a genre-bending experience that combines Catan-style trading and real-time strategy-style combat with engaging poker gameplay, allowing players to strengthen their hold with high-card hands. In the latest trailer, players can catch a glimpse of Duper’s strategic grid-based gameplay, which invites participants to start from a single tile as they work to maximize their profits, engage in turn-based battles, and trade resources to help build their capital.

With up to four opponents on the board, winning won’t be a walk in the park. Through deception and backstabbing, players may secretly plot to overthrow their combatants as they work together to earn more chips until their alliance is no longer needed. By reaching the victory title, holding a straight flush, or simply having the most tiles acquired on the board, the named winners can leave the battlefield with a wealth of prizes after successfully outsmarting their friends or strangers.
