Gallery Nucleus Exhibition to Open November 8 with Special Guest, Renowned Art Director Yusuke Naora
Indie game studio Monomi Park has announced a partnership with Gallery Nucleus to celebrate The Art of Slime Rancher. The opening reception for this Slime Rancher event will take place on Nov. 8. A preview for VIP and press will take place from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. PT, with the gallery opening to the public (with ticket purchase) from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. PT. Ahead of the panel, Monomi Park will be taking community questions that will be used in the developer Q&A. Fans can head to the official Slime Rancher X or Instagram accounts to submit their questions to any of the wiggly panelists.
Monomi Park has partnered with the iconic Gallery Nucleus for The Art of Slime Rancher exhibition, a special event highlighting the whimsical artwork and music of the Slime Rancher franchise in celebration of the full release of Slime Rancher 2. There will be a panel moderated by industry vet and seasoned host Andrea Rene, and autograph/meet-and-greet opportunities with Nick Popovich (CEO & Creative Director), Jenna Kemker (Art Director), Norma Martinez (Lead Artist), and Harry Mack (Composer).
The gallery will feature a stunning collection of art from the game. This will include concept art, pieces created exclusively for the event by the development team, and tribute artwork from over 30 artists. Special Guest Yusuke Naora, the renowned Art Director of the FINAL FANTASY series, created the art for the Slime Rancher 2 physical iam8bit Exclusive Edition and accompanying poster, and will be signing after the panel. Anyone who missed the opening reception can still visit the exhibition, which will continue to be on display at Gallery Nucleus through Nov. 23. The art will be viewable online starting Nov. 9 at 12:01 a.m. PT.
Monomi Park has also teamed up with cosplay artist and costume designer Lightning_Cosplay to create a real-life Vacpack prop that will be on display at the Gallery Nucleus event. Lightning_Cosplay is meticulously building a recreation of Beatrix LeBeau’s iconic tool and sharing updates via her social media channels.
