Capture Flags, Confuse Commanders: Action Strategy “Jelly Troops” Launches Today on PC, Nintendo Switch
I Don't Think You're Ready For These Jellies
TOKYO – Sept. 17, 2025 – Jelly Troops, the lightning-fast pick-up-and-play PvP action strategy game developed by Nukenin Inc. and published by Phoenixx Inc., launches today on Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam for $8.99. Join up as a joyous gelatinous general with a limited-time sale starting today on Steam until Wednesday, Oct. 1 at 10:00 AM PDT, and on Nintendo Switch until Tuesday, Oct. 7 at 23:59 PM PDT.
Summon squadrons of slimes as dueling wizards in a battle of wits and wills as chaotic as it is cute. Both wizards must capture the other’s flags, but there are many paths to victory. Outnumber or outsmart the enemy, but always remember that split-second decisions can make or break a campaign.
Each wizard begins the battle with three slime soldiers. Grow a gelatinous army by harvesting nearby Magic Fruits, send Jellies to harvest them, then transport them back to base to grow new slimes. Allocate manpower Jellypower to prioritize tasks - more Jellies working together speeds up every process.
Sneak around the map to scout for snatchable enemy flags or overwhelm the enemy with sheer numbers and a decisive strike. Steer clear of towering Golems that can crush Jellies and wizards alike, or lure them toward key choke points to inhibit enemy mobility. Set up slime walls to protect flags or route opposing armies the long way around.
Acquire power-ups that can turn the tide of battle, like lightning strikes that can decimate slimes in the blink of an eye, ticking time bombs, invisibility, and even friendly Golems. Face off in battles for slime supremacy against family and friends in split-screen multiplayer, or challenge gelatinous strategists from around the world in random and private online matches.
Starting today, compete against the Jelly Troops dev during the Launch Battle Party every night at 9:00 PM across all time zones. Enter to win one of ten Steam keys by posting a screenshot, or video of gameplay with #JellyTroops on X. Follow the official Phoenixx X account and check recent posts for more details.
“Jelly Troops might seem cute on the outside, but don’t underestimate the strategic variety hiding underneath!” says Waken, solo developer of Jelly Troops. “Jelly Troops has been a passion project of mine for some time. I look forward to seeing what strategies develop.”
Jelly Troops goes on the offensive on PC via Steam and Nintendo Switch today for $8.99. Language options include English, Japanese, Chinese (Simplified and Traditional), Korean, French, Italian, German, Spanish, and Portuguese.
