BORDEAUX, France – Sept. 11, 2025 – Wartales, the medieval open-world tactical RPG with more than one million units sold from developer Shiro Games, opens up a whole new field of battle in its latest DLC, Contract: The Fief, arriving on PC via Steam and GOG on Sept. 25, 2025.

Take command of a domain of your very own. Enact laws, oversee industry and tradecraft, and manage state affairs as the fiefdom grows and develops. Attend to each district, directing the construction of new buildings for production and culture.

Contract: The Fief merges seamlessly with Wartales' campaigns. Add new layers and stakes to the experience by managing the fiefdom from anywhere in the world any time your roving band of mercenaries takes a rest.

Watch closely as factions emerge and vie for influence among peasants, nobles, scholars, and clergy. These groups ultimately determine the domain’s overarching identity - will the realm be known for its strict militarism, as a bustling trade hub, or a center for scholarship?
