Sept. 9, 2025 – Forsaker: DingDing & Blade, the visual novel × strategy card adventure developed by BladeLantern Studios and published by Infini Fun, launches on Steam for PC on Wednesday, Sept. 24, 2025.

On the war-torn continent of Herl, there exists a cursed race known as the Forsakers—beings who share the form of humans, yet are burdened with the instinct to devour their own kind. Papeti, the heroine of the story, is one of them. She longs for freedom and love, but her journey is destined to be a struggle for survival within a world of betrayal and bloodshed.

Told through POV-style narration, the story of Papeti and the Forsakers unravels through an epic storyline of more than 200,000 words, in a hand-painted, gothic fantasy art style. Initially separate character storylines eventually converge, revealing the shocking truth hidden behind the world’s facade.

Experience deckbuilding card battles that enable offense, defense, and support playstyles. Unlock allies throughout the story to unleash devastating strategies. Roguelike elements with randomized routes, events, and enemies ensure each run is a fresh and challenging experience. Or, turn on “Lazy Mode,” and experience the game as a pure visual novel, focusing on the choices and emotional bonds between characters.
