Dying Light: The Beast Celebrates “110 Years of Zombies in Pop Culture” in New Video Bringing the Living Dead to Life

10 years ago, Techland celebrated “100 Years of Zombie Evolution”, and now revisits the viral hit video with “110 Years of Zombies in Pop Culture” ahead of the upcoming launch of Dying Light: The Beast on Sept. 19, 2025.

Now an undeniable anchor of pop culture, Techland enlisted talented makeup artists and actors to represent the ways the undead have been represented throughout the history of movies, TV, and video games. See interpretations of the undead from the early days of voodoo zombies to making tributes to creative modern takes on the living dead appear in the (decaying) flesh.
