Paris, France, September 9th 2025: Indie game developer and publisher Groovy Snail Studios is proud to announce September 15th, 2025, as the official worldwide release date of Synthetic Hopes the studios debut game unveiling a story about meaning, resilience and facing overwhelming odds. Synthetic Hopes is a cool puzzle game featuring original and systemic mechanics sparkled with a few platforming action sequences. You play an enslaved android with a shot at freedom in a dystopian cyberpunk setting and by learning the ways of the world you may have a chance of breaking free of your shackles!

Synthetic Hopes takes place in a cyberpunk world where androids have been reduced to slavery, and you play a first-generation model that finally has a shot at freedom. Inspired by the vibe and theme of Bladerunner® and with a game design approach like that of Braid and Hue, Synthetic Hopes allows you solve puzzles by independently controlling both of your arms. Each arm can make a different mixture that will allow you to bypass cameras, create platforms or change the water. All secondary mechanics are 100% in synergy with the core ones. You must traverse four increasingly difficult environments and escape the lights to advance, and you may pick up and combine elements to create new mixtures along the way.

Synthetic Hopes features more than 150+ puzzles to solve by mixing colors and state of matter, and if you feel stuck or seem hopelessly lost, you must clear obstacles and create paths where none seems to exist to progress.
