Pine Hoverfly Set Launches Alongside STORY OF SEASONS: Grand Bazaar; All Proceeds to Support Vital Conservation Efforts

London, U.K. – Aug. 12, 2025 – Marvelous Europe and sister company Marvelous USA today announced a downloadable content (DLC) pack for the highly anticipated farming life sim, STORY OF SEASONS: Grand Bazaar, launching on Aug. 27, 2025 for Nintendo Switch™, Nintendo Switch 2, and Windows PC via Steam. All net proceeds from the new Pine Hoverfly Outfit Set DLC, which includes a new in-game sweater, beanie and glider will directly support the Royal Zoological Society of Scotland (RZSS) and their crucial invertebrate conservation efforts. The Pine Hoverfly Outfit Set DLC marks the continuation of a groundbreaking partnership that began in 2020, when Marvelous Europe partnered with RZSS, with the help of Jellymedia, donating to support their efforts to reestablish the pine hoverfly, a ‘Critically Endangered’ insect. The pine hoverfly, once confined to a single forest patch in Scotland, plays a key role in the ecosystem as a pollinator and waste recycler. The pivotal donation enabled the wildlife conservation charity to significantly expand its breeding programme from 170 to 8,000 individuals annually, actively preventing the species' extinction. For the first time in eight years, adult pine hoverflies have been sighted and are reproducing in the wild.

STORY OF SEASONS: Grand Bazaar is the latest instalment in the beloved farming life sim series, inviting players to breathe life back into Zephyr Town. Players will raise animals, harvest crops, and sell wares from their own stall in the lively weekly bazaar to restore prosperity to the town. The game features picturesque mountainside living, effortless gliding across town using wind power, and a colourful cast of characters to befriend and romance.

The Pine Hoverfly Outfit Set DLC will be available globally, with 100% of proceeds going to RZSS. Players can join the effort to support real-world conservation efforts by purchasing the DLC when STORY OF SEASONS: Grand Bazaar launches on Aug. 27, 2025 for Nintendo Switch™, Nintendo Switch 2, and Windows PC via Steam.
