Make Your Mark on the Skymap: Lost Skies Launches Island Creator Competition with Legendary Prizes

Build your own island, get a chance to see it in the game and snag an Nvidia graphics card, custom Xbox controller, and more!

[August 5th] - Calling all Awoken to the skies! A competition for Lost Skies’ free Island Creator tool on Steam is now live! Players are invited to design the most creative floating islands that they can for a chance to win some incredible prizes, such as an NVIDIA RTX 5070 TI graphics card or a Lost Skies-inspired custom Xbox controller. The time to make a permanent mark on the Skymap is now!

The two-phase competition runs from August 4th to August 26th and celebrates the creativity of the Lost Skies community as they craft custom floating islands using the standalone Island Creator. The competition specifically states that entries are to be set in the newly unlocked Midlands region, encouraging imaginative use of terrain, layout, secrets, and vistas.

How It Works:

Phase 1: Submissions (August 4th – August 18th)

Creators can submit their custom island via the Lost Skies Island Creator, now available for free on Steam. Once published to the Steam Workshop, entries must be submitted through the contest’s Gleam page, which includes the full competition’s terms and services, and posted in the dedicated Discord submission channel. On August 18th, a list of 10 finalists will be chosen that will be voted on in Phase 2 of the competition.

Phase 2: Community Vote (August 19th – August 26th)

The 10 finalists will go head-to-head in a public vote on the Lost Skies Discord, where the community will decide the final ranking.

The Prizes:

1st Place: NVIDIA RTX 5070 TI Graphics Card + 5 Lost Skies Early Access Steam Keys
2nd Place: Lost Skies inspired custom Xbox Wireless Controller + 3 Lost Skies Steam Keys
3rd Place: 3 Lost Skies Steam Keys

Winners will be announced on Wednesday, August 27th.
