Guardians are Invited to Have Fun in the Sun With the Return of the Solstice Event

Guardians are invited to join Eva Levante for her annual Solstice event in Destiny 2, taking place from today until August 19 and available to all players. The summer party brings new Solstice-specific modifiers to Portal activities that are inspired by Solar energy to keep the heat turned up for the event. Guardians will use the Solstice Forge to create their armor and infuse it with a stylized glow that's unique to the event. Also, players can earn weapons such as the new Yeartide Apex Solar Submachine gun, the new Festival Flight Strand Grenade Launcher, and the returning Fortunate Star Void Bow.

During the Solstice event, all players can earn rewards through challenges in the Event Home, such as a Solstice-themed emblem, a Ghost shell, and even Holofoil weapons. Also, the Eververse store features pool-party themed armor for Guardians to stay refreshed and have some fun in the sun during the Solstice event.

In celebration of the Solstice event, the Bungie Store is hosting Solstice Savings from August 5, 2025, at 10:00am PT through August 19, 2025, at 9:59am PT. The Solstice Savings event brings new discounts on products such as the NERF LMTD Destiny 2 Ace of Spades Blaster, The Art of Destiny Vol. 3, the Floating Traveler Lamp, and more. All purchases made on the Bungie Store during this event will come with the emblem “Sunburst”. In addition to new savings, there will be a $7.77 flat rate available for all orders within the continental US, EU, and UK*.
