Monomi Park, creators of the top-rated Slime Rancher franchise, are pleased to share that Slime Rancher 2 will exit early access and fully launch on Sept. 23 with digital editions for PlayStation®5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store. The full release [v1.0] will be chock-full of new content and gameplay updates, including: Quantum Drones, a twist on a fan-favorite which not only can help automate your ranch but can also roam the island to find resources; plenty of additional blueprints offering decor variants, gadgets, and upgrades; and new sections of the Labyrinth to explore as you uncover the incredible secret behind Rainbow Island, solve the ongoing mysteries, and save the Far, Far Range—a finale you won't want to miss. All together, this launch culminates in the best and most complete version of the Slime Rancher 2 experience to date.

To commemorate the 10th anniversary of the Slime Rancher series, the team is excited to announce a partnership with iam8bit to release physical editions of Slime Rancher 2 on Jan. 14, 2026, for PlayStation®5 and Xbox Series X|S. With exclusive artwork from legendary artist Yusuke Naora (FINAL FANTASY VII, X, XV), the global retail physical edition and iam8bit Exclusive Edition will both contain a physical copy of the game on a region-free disc and a fold-out poster featuring the custom illustration.

For a limited time, those who pre-order the physical edition will receive a free digital download code for the official soundtrack in the box. The limited Slime Rancher 2 iam8bit Exclusive Edition will be housed in an illustrated sleeve and include a slime sticker sheet featuring six adorable slimes, as well as an exclusive O-sleeve showcasing Beatrix LeBeau and other beloved characters.
