Strategy Meets Slime in “Jelly Troops,” Oozing onto PC and Nintendo Switch Sept. 17

TOKYO – July 8, 2025 – Jelly Troops, the lightning-fast pick-up-and-play PvP action strategy game developed by Nukenin Co., Ltd. and published by Phoenixx Inc., marshals slimes behind enemy lines on Wednesday, September 17, 2025, on PC via Steam and Nintendo Switch.

At first, Jelly Troops may appear simple — Two wizards, two gelatinous armies, one goal: capture the flags. But beneath that squishy, colorful exterior lies complexity and strategic depth reminiscent of classic RTS titles. Split-second decisions win the day, and outsmarting the enemy is just as important as outnumbering their ranks.

In this war of power and positioning, a true general must first recruit more troops. Peruse neighboring areas for Magic Fruits, and send Jellies to yank them out of the ground and transport them back to base to grow friendly forces. Teamwork makes the dream work: the more Jellies on the task, the faster the work gets done. Send them all to one pod for quicker pick-up and speedy travel, or divvy up the workload to claim multiple pods at once.

Avoid ominous Golems that patrol key areas of the map, eager to crush both Jellies and generals in a single blow. Lure them away from key choke points to access additional resources, or position them near enemy bases to blockade their movement.

Fight for flags in multiple ways: overwhelm the enemy by sheer numbers, wall off routes with slime barriers, or sneak through the fog of war to snatch victory from under their nose. Scout for power-ups that can turn the tide of battle in an instant. Call down lightning from above to zap slimes into oblivion, throw ticking time bombs, summon a squadron of friendly Guardians, trigger invisibility powers, and much more.

Command an ever-growing gelatinous army in a battle of wits against friends and family in split-screen multiplayer, or face slimy strategists across the globe in both random and private online matches.

“Jelly Troops is as deep as it is cute. The inviting blue-pink aesthetic contrasts against very tense gameplay,” says Waken, solo developer of Jelly Troops. “The mind games are near-endless. We can’t wait to watch the meta develop over time!”
