Rogue Climber Enters Early Access with Five Chapters and Big Plans Ahead

Solo Dev Expands on Demo with New Environments, Enemies, and Future Features

July 1, 2025 – Rogue Climber has officially launched into Early Access on Steam, bringing players the full version of its fast-paced, first-person roguelike platformer. Built by solo developer Christian Tuttle under Imaginary Game Studios, the game now features five unique Chapters, packed with new environments, hazards and gameplay challenges.

The original demo gave players a taste of the game’s parkour-style movement and roguelike structure, but Early Access goes much further. Players can now take on all five Chapters, each with its own visual theme and set of obstacles. From glowing ruins and industrial towers to stranger, more surreal heights, every climb offers something new to master.

Each Chapter in Rogue Climber is procedurally generated using a library of handcrafted 3D models, designed specifically to match the tone, mechanics and atmosphere of that environment. This approach allows every climb to feel unpredictable and replayable, while maintaining a consistent visual identity and a deliberate sense of structure. The result is a game that combines the freshness of procedural content with the intentionality of carefully built worlds.

This launch marks a big step forward, but there’s still more to come. During Early Access, players can look forward to:

Updated visuals and mechanics in each Chapter
New traps, enemies and upgradeable items
Free Play Mode, an endless remix of levels and themes
Light narrative additions to tie everything together

Solo developer Christian Tuttle is actively seeking feedback from the community to help shape future updates.

“I want Rogue Climber to be the kind of game where you improve through play,” says developer Christian Tuttle. “It’s all about mastering movement, learning from each attempt, and feeling that real sense of progress. Early Access is the perfect space to keep evolving the game with community input.”

Rogue Climber is all about movement, mastery, and replayability. With precise platforming, randomized level layouts, and a focus on player skill, each run is a chance to test your reflexes and explore new strategies. Whether you're chasing perfect builds or just trying to survive a brutal climb, there’s always something new around the corner.

Now available on Steam, purchase for 8,99$, enjoy the 25% discount and shape the future of Rogue Climber with Christian!
