Post-Apocalyptic Train Ride ‘Frostrail’ Steams Ahead to 200k Wishlists

Frostrail, the first-person, crafting survival game from developer FakeFish and publisher Shiro Unlimited, has crossed the 200,000 Steam wishlist mark following its debut at the Triple-i Initiative Showcase in April.

Board a powerful locomotive to cross a perilous, post-apocalyptic world perpetually encased in snow and ice. Team up with allies to press forward through treacherous conditions and arctic temperatures, fighting off undead abominations known as Revenants.

Scavenge precious resources found in underground vaults and abandoned settlements, taking care not to leave the safety and warmth of the train for too long. The bitter cold and ravenous wildlife prowling the tundra conspire to consume anyone foolish enough to stay outside for too long.

Return to the train with looted treasure and materials, and use them to craft enhanced survival gear, weapon upgrades, and improvements for the train’s defenses. Join forces with friends in online co-op play to watch each other’s backs and increase the odds of the expedition’s survival in this hostile, haunted world.

Frostrail will launch on Steam Early Access for Windows PC in 2026 with English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, and Simplified Chinese language support.
