Let Them Trade’s Cozy City Builder Charm Embarks on Release In July
Berlin, Germany - June 3, 2025 — Developer Spaceflower and publisher ByteRockers’ Games are thrilled to announce that their charming city builder Let Them Trade is launching on July 24th, 2025 on PC. A new demo for Let Them Trade is also coming on June 9th as part of Steam Next Fest, featuring a first look at the game’s Knights and Bandits feature! So dust off your carriage, put on your trading boots and prepare to help grow a charming wooden world into your very own lively and thriving kingdom.
In Let them Trade you take on the role of a kingdom planner, who has been given the task of expanding and improving citizen’s lives by the game's cheeky (and squirrel loving) monarch. Build a network of cities that produce and trade resources, upgrade your castle, and protect the cities from bandits. Tinker with the economy at your own pace, and watch the charming wooden world grow into a lively and thriving kingdom.
In order to expand your kingdom, you need to acquire the various resources scattered around the map, and trade them within your cities. Each city manages your citizens' needs autonomously and possesses their own unique budget and resources. If citizens in a given city are happy then they will pay higher taxes, ensuring that your city is not only more wealthy but also more generous in trade with your other cities. On the flip side, if a city's citizens are unhappy they will negatively impact not only their hometown but also the resources being traded to others. It’s all about balance!
Being successful isn’t without its drawbacks, as wealthy cities are more prone to attacks by bandits and robbers. Thankfully, you can hire knights in order to protect your precious citizens and their chiseled wooden features. You can also purchase goods through the castle and strategically trade goods for profits, or store them for when harder times strike. Let Them Trade features various scenarios with different challenges for dynamic gameplay, and its charming boardgame-like visual style combined with immense replayability will keep you hooked!
Let Them Trade launches into PC Early access on July 24th, 2025 and you can add it to your Steam wishlist today!
