Dark Machine Games Reveals a Content Roadmap for White Knuckle

Los Angeles, USA - May 22, 2025 — Speed climbers can now rest for a moment from looking upwards and set their sights forward, as Dark Machine Games and DreadXP released today a plan for new content coming to the horror roguelite game that is charming thousands. To go alongside this roadmap reveal, White Knuckle just got an update today that adds the much requested feature to save the game and continue later.

Looking forward to the summer, White Knuckle is receiving a new expansion very soon that is titled The Challenge Update, which, you guessed it, is themed around challenges, and also brings some surprises that are yet to be revealed. A new big expansion is dated for Q3, named The Abyss Update, which adds a new region, items, perks, enemies, and more. But we’re also looking Beyond the Abyss, and there’s plenty more to come…

White Knuckle is now available in Steam Early Access for $12.99 USD / €12.79 / £10.99. This special introductory price celebrates the start of Early Access, with more content and features on the way. As White Knuckle evolves throughout development, pricing will be adjusted to reflect the game’s expanded scope. A free, highly acclaimed demo is also available for climbers who want to do a quick stretch before going for the run.
