RailGods of Hysterra, a cooperative base-building survival action game set in a twisted Lovecraftian dreamscape from developer Troglobytes Games and publisher Digital Vortex Entertainment, has a brand new demo available today.

Today’s demo offers a bevy of never-before-seen content, including new enemies, armor, accessories, locations, a guild questline, and lore fragments. Experiment with the arcane with new GodKeeper skills. Fog of War and Tentacle, and a new Dark Gift: Seismic Wave.

Enter a twisted nightmare where the Old Ones of H.P. Lovecraft’s Cthulhu mythos have won, spreading their malevolent, reality-twisting madness into every corner of the world. Explore mysterious locales, encounter abominations, and face the threat of madness around every corner.

Climb aboard a mighty RailGod, the fusion of a steam locomotive and an eldritch entity from beyond the stars. Use materials scavenged during adventures to design and build new cars for the train. Fill them with workshops and tools to upgrade gear and bolster the RailGod’s defenses.

Commune with the RailGod’s alien mind, trading madness for new traits and abilities. Tailor character builds for each new challenge. Join forces with up to four additional players to take on the Old Ones together in co-op.

RailGods of Hysterra’s new demo is available today, ahead of coming to Early Access on PC via Steam in 2025. It will support English, French, German, Russian, Spanish - Spain, Portuguese - Brazil, Simplified Chinese, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Polish, and Turkish languages.
