Smartphones can do more than ever before, and with new apps being released every day - America's addiction continues to grow.

A new report shows gaming is taking a front seat when it comes to app downloads and usage. In fact, nearly 4 out of 5 Americans say they have and use gaming apps on a daily basis.

Most used gaming apps in 2023: Candy Crush (#1), Pokemon Go (#2), Wordle (#3), Wordscapes (#4), Call of Duty (#5)
America's favorite classic game turned app: Solitaire
Nearly 1 in 3 spend more than $20 per month on apps
Average number of apps Americans have: 44
