There's a slew of reasons for Dominoes; least of all, we were playing with a rulebook no one understood, so it got winged, with rules half remembered in the middle of the game, corrected or changed later, and just...pleh.
Ok so, it comes with the caveat that the movie is heavily magical/occultic (done in the Marvel style, so pseudo-real, mostly made up) and if that even kind of bothers you, I can't recommend it...but the Dr. Strange movie was the best Marvel movie since the first Avengers for me. It felt like the Iron Man and Thor series, and the first Captain America. I loved it, and have no complaints. I hated Civil War though, so your mileage may vary.

I hate it when that happens. I once had a nice set of headphones, with a built-in microphone. I won them in a drawing from this Web site, actually. One time I plugged them in, and I couldn't hear anything. I examine the cord and discover that a kitten chewed the cord nearly in two.

Nice. Mine usually break internally. My current pair just snapped in half. Twice, actually. I repaired the first break, and I think I'm going to repair the second...I like these headphones. XD

It's been so long since I've had one that I don't even remember what they taste like. I don't even know if they're sold in this area.... What do you think of them?

I like them. Peanut buttery and coconutty. I can only find them sporadically.

I am. And as I am running out of books, 5 for $1 is a pretty sweet deal...but I don't want them if every other page is a gratuitous bloodbath of gore. XD Which I kinda think it will be, so I am hesitant. The heresy is interesting times in the 30K universe, though.

Sounds like narcolepsy, and that can be a serious medical condition. Unless you're a fainting goat....

Life would be simpler, I think. No one eats them either...dare to dream, I suppose.

Lawns are a waste of time. I want to rip out the one we have and replace it with stone walkways, raised beds and fruit trees. You know, stuff that we can actually use.Chozon1 wrote: Wed Apr 05, 2017 7:58 am

Makes sense. I don't mind grass, though if I had my way we'd have nothing but food-bearing plants in our yard. Lettuce, herbs, fruits. ETC. Nothing seems to grow as good as grass though. XD

That's because grass is an evil weed and needs to die, die, DIE!Chozon1 wrote: Thu Apr 06, 2017 8:06 am Makes sense. I don't mind grass, though if I had my way we'd have nothing but food-bearing plants in our yard. Lettuce, herbs, fruits. ETC. Nothing seems to grow as good as grass though. XD
In our household, garlic is practically a food group unto itself.Chozon1 wrote: Thu Apr 06, 2017 8:06 am Favorite seasoning (spice or herb, as opposed to actual salt)?

Horses like it. Or maybe they hate it, and show this by killing it. The point is, if you fenced your lawn and put a horse on it, you wouldn't need to mow anymore.

I've heard that sheep are even more effective at keeping the lawn trimmed. In fact, one U.S. President used sheep to do this. (Woodrow Wilson, I believe.)Chozon1 wrote: Fri Apr 07, 2017 7:24 am Horses like it. Or maybe they hate it, and show this by killing it. I have never done this. I'm not sure why I would want to.

Yeah, but you can't ride a sheep. I can't, anyway. You do get the wool though...Something to think about, actually. They're less likely to randomly trample you too. Cheaper to care for.
