Glee! And it looks like Bretonnia's gonna be playable!!!

So happpppppyyyyyyyyyyyyy.............

Though this is funny/mildly annoying:

As of 5:10 AM this morning I have an E-mail in my inbox from Games Workshop announcing it and adding a little commercial:

"You've seen the game - now own the miniatures!"

Up yours, GW. Total War: Warhammer takes place in the Old World, a world which you destroyed, and is played using factions you destroyed with units you discontinued most of the miniatures for... all for the transition to Age of Sigmar.

If you go to GW's site there's a banner add that says "Buy the game. Collect the miniatures."

Pathetic.

I also found that amusing.

"Own the miniatures! ...that we don't make anymore."

If you've played it: How is the game?

Well, I'm doing the campaign and so far it's.... Total War. That's a good thing, but I'm still adjusting to the new interface. I haven't had an opportunity yet to field anything exotic like wizards or monsters, so at this point it just feels like I'm playing Medieval 2: Total War. Again, it's a good thing, but I already have that game and I want to see what's new.

The Warriors of Chaos DLC is free, at least for now. Bretonnia isn't playable at the outset so I don't now if that gets unlocked or if it will be a future DLC pack.
