See, i've started playing games like League of Legends (only way to beat it is to uninstall it) and Minecraft, which has an 'ending', but doesn't ever end, even so. And in all honesty, i've actually never faced the Ender Dragon in 5 years of minecrafting. Just never really cared enough about all that exp to go to the effort of doing it, even though i've been capable of doing the fight on many, many worlds. The only Minecraft boss ive beaten on my own is the Wither, on Normal difficulty. And that's because the Beacon is actually worth my time to want enough to endure that horrid boss fight.
Until recently, that would have been my answer, too. Only within the last year or so have I made a commitment to officially finish a game before moving on to a sequel. I think this change of attitude is a result of all the sequels coming out. :D

Just today I beat the following, courtesy of my brother's steam account:

Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands (I should write a review...)

and

Bioshock Infinite (somebody hold me..)

I had actually never played a Bioshock game before but now I know I have to buy them all for my PS3.

Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon.

I can't make up my mind. I really, really enjoyed the game, but it's missing something the first one had. The exploration was fun, as were the multiple locations (though in the original, the Mansion never really got stale) with varying environments.

The fact the game was level based (though technically the first one was too) felt odd, for some reason.
Spoiler:
And for some reason, I was very disappointed that collecting the gems and money (after all the upgrades were purchased) didn't do anything except put a medal on your multiplayer profile. In the first one, the amount of money you got determined how big your mansion was at the end.
Still...I think the problem is sequel syndrome, of the variety that, when you love the original so much, it's hard for the sequel to match up. Still good, glad I bought it, but not quite as awesome as the first one.

Good stuff. And portable too, so I can bust ghosts with the convenience of a pizza bagel.
