I started playing DOTA 2 last summer with my cousin. A few months ago I found out about the High School StarLeague. For those of you not familiar with it, here's the link. http://hsstarleague.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; I want to start a team but I am worried about points my school might bring against it. Specifically I am worried about more grotesque and demonic heroes such as Doom, Lifestealer as well as a few others. I'm also concerned about the fact that it says a profanity after certain kill sprees or multikills. It says the S word after saying holy. One of my biggest drives for this is to help E-Sports continue to grow, give kids a chance to participate in a high school sport while otherwise they may not have, and to reflect Jesus Christ into a new and growing community. I have good points to stand on but I feel like if they find out about the aforementioned things that they will focus on that. Do any of you have any advice and ways to deal with this? I figure we can tell them that we just won't play as those heroes but I'm not sure if that's enough to sway them.

If they are going to gripe about that, you are going to have some problems. DOTA is not the most "clean" game out there unfortunately. The good news is you stand on some really excellent points about giving kids a chance to do something and participate and share Christ in an ever growing community. Give it a shot!
I'm curious, in order to participate in this league, do you have to be affiliated with a school?

This looks awesome! I am homeschooled though so I don't know if I could make a team.
