EA for a couple of years now been trying to get into the free-to-play market. They have finally released a sports game with a F2P model called FIFA World. It's pretty much the Ultimate Team mode, and, well, that's pretty much it. It's still in open beta but since it's using the engine from FIFA 13/14 it plays just fine, even if the AI is a little buggy.
