Those are popular bands, yes! Being that this is a Christ-centered forum, have you listened to Day of Fire, Fireflight, Pillar, Skillet, Flyleaf, P.O.D., or any of the rest of the exploding christian rock genre?

I think the concern is more that you said real rock with that list of bands.
I am free, no matter what rules surround me. If I find them tolerable, I tolerate them; if I find them too obnoxious, I break them. I am free because I know that I alone am morally responsible for everything I do - Robert A Heinlein

I certainly hope that your musical preferences meet my standards for approval.

Wow, I feel kinda bad for the guy...

I'll answer.

I've seen Disturbed in concert once, and I loved them when they were good (read: before all of their songs sounded the same). I really dislike Korn and Three Days Grace. I've seen Rise Against live twice and I own everything they've done. Linkin Park... again, saw them live once. I own most of their stuff.

However, I'm alternately hugely into underground music and British stuff, or really into heavy stuff. Mainstream usually doesn't do it for me.

You were telling him about Buddha, you were telling him about Mohammed in the same breath. You never mentioned one time the Man who came and died a criminal’s death...
