JigAPix is an amazing franchise that is not only worth your time, but also your money. JigAPix takes jigsaw puzzles into the digital age. If you have a DSi you can make your very own pictures to be used in the puzzles.

These company pages have more information on the games:
http://www.destineergames.com/games/ds/ ... wildworld/
http://www.destineergames.com/games/ds/jigapixpets/

They are a lot of different features, and these games are good for all ages.

I'm holding off on purchasing a new DS until the 3DS comes out...but I do want the camera. XD

I can work around not having a GBA port...probably.

I have not played a GBA game in awhile. More DS games are adding in DSi features.

That is very wise. If you do not have a DSi, wait for the 3DS. I completely understand that. The 3DS is awesome. I got to hold one for a few seconds at E3. The 3D effect is really cool. I wish they would have shown us 3D pictures with the cameras, but I can be patient. :)

I still have a GBA around somewhere in case I need to play it. And the Super Gameboy Advance underneath the Gamecube. :)

I appreciate the complement. XD

Also...I'm srsly jealous of FFG at the moment...not in a bad way, but just the fact he got to hold a 3DS. XD

I had to hear about it from my wife a lot too. But she had a different comment. Nintendo sent out models, and it was strapped to their waists on a belt/cord combo. I took some pictures with my phone, and she harassed me about the models. I barely noticed, which makes me quite the geek. :)

They did not announce pricing at E3. Currently in Japan is sells for 300 US dollars. I think that is a bit much for the Americas. I could see 200 US dollars. I really think 300 would kill the system until it came down in price. They might do 300 and pre-install some games, or give so many points for downloads. Still that's a big price tag.

I have not heard anything official from Nintendo. As soon as I do, we will publish it. I don't expect official news until after Christmas.

Would you prefer I link to the FFG review pages? Wouldn't that be a shameless advertisement? I have no affiliation with Destineer Games.

Thanks. :)

Everyone in our family really likes this franchise. It is doing puzzles on the DS. Various options making it easier or harder extend the life of the games, and there is something about finishing a puzzle and getting to see the picture. :)

I was kidding. It just sounded like you were selling something.
