Our wii has died and I hope we will get a new game console for Christmas.
What is the best one, and why?
I hope to convince my parents.

The Switch is a good option with its portability and family friendly titles

If you and your family like family-friendly games, go for the Nintendo Switch (though I'm warning you Switches may be hard to find this holiday season). If your family are more hardcore video game players, I'd invest in either the Xbox 1 or Playstation 4.
I love playing Mario games! :D :D :D :D :D They are so awesome!!!

The Nintendo Switch is my favorite console in years, maybe longer. I've been playing console games since a wee lad back in the NES days, and Switch has made me feel like a kid again. Highly recommended!

Mostly, though, you want to go look at the libraries to each system. See which has the games right for you. I look at the XBox One and Playstation 4 shelves at Best Buy and there just isn't anything that grabs my interest. Just a lot of dark, same-same stuff that doesn't appeal to me like Mario Odyssey or Splatoon or Snipperclips. But everyone has to make that call for themselves/their household! :)
