So uh I actually did lick one

Great for talking hardware, hype, and games outside traditional genres.

All of the stories and talk about how Nintendo Switch cartridges were made horrible tasting, and the who April Fools joke, and all of those old pictures of people licking consoles and hand held devices - got me thinking.

How horrible does a Nintendo switch cartridge actually taste? I just couldn't take it anymore. I had to know. Was it all hype? I had to verify.

So uh I actually did lick one. I think it was Super Bomberman R. The taste was not pleasant - sort of metallic. That was not the worst part though. I could not get the taste out of my mouth for 30-60 minutes. It lingered like a bad burrito.

I am taking other people's word for it, lol.

I wonder, though, do some games taste worse than others?! Maybe better games taste worse. Go lick Zelda.

My kids licked them but didn't mention the taste lingering. They certainly haven't licked them again!
