What are your top 3 favorite games of all time? This doesn't necessarily mean the best or highest quality, but which games did you enjoy the most?

My list:
1. Deus Ex (the original)
The gameplay in this title is simply amazing. While it is certainly not without flaws, I can't say I've ever played a game that was more enjoyable for me.

2. Oni
After playing this little known title, I had enjoyed it so much that I decided to look up other games by the same publisher. That was how I was introduced to Halo well after it had been released.

3. DOTA 2
Not sure what to say about this one. It has many different aspects, and that is probably why I enjoy it so much.

I can usually get closure after beating a game but Fallout 3 was hard to step away from

Yeah, that's true enough. Fallout New Vegas was nice, but just didn't have the presence of 3.

The ironic thing is that they WERE all fairly good, the ones that I've played.

Wind Waker was different, which I liked.
Ocarina of Time was great at bringing the franchise to a new generation.
Twilight Princess was good for another attempt.
A Link Between Worlds, sequal to the SNES zelda, 'nuff said.

I have rose tinted glasses for many games I grew up with, but the game I enjoyed most and found so few flaws with that I can't think of any off the top of my head... Would be Portal 2.
My name is ChickenSoup and I have several flavors in which you may be interested

Morrowind (big surprise there, I know).

The Civilization series (especially Civ II, but Civ IV is pretty good, too).

...

The third one would be a hard choice. There are so many great games to choose from! Mario Kart? Street Fighter? Avernum? Planescape: Torment? If my favorite games are those that I've spent hours on, there are way too many to choose from....

I should probably put Morrowind on the list...but that'd be like an addict putting "heroine" down as a favorite past time. XD These are rated by "enjoyability" not "favorite". In my mind, "good game" and "enjoyment" are a bit different.

1) Meteos. It was my first DS game, and my first real puzzle game. I could play it for hours when I first got it, and I'm not above firing it up now.

2) Battlefield Bad Company 1/2. Odd choices, but for sheer "I cannot stop laughing I love this", I don't think I've ever come across a better series. Literally, I could play those games and come away laughing every time.

3) Mirrors Edge. Very few things, in my mind, will ever be as fun as the free running mechanics in that game. I never got tired of it, and even beat it on hard.

Battlefield 3
My first experience with online playing. I have always had a great time with this game.

Minecraft
Unlimited possibilities in the way that I like to build.

Battlefield 1
After the fail that was Battlefield 4 there is now again a great battlefield game with great variety and dynamic gameplay.
