Okay, so I'm on YouTube right? I find a video that says a Sonic Fan Film was airing. I gave it a look and it was actually pretty good. They even got Jaleel White to do the voice of Sonic. If you don't know who Jaleel White is, he's the one who played Steve Urkle on Family Matters and, apparently, also did the voice of Sonic in the old cartoon series The Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog. That, along with other cartoons.

So the fan film seems to take place before Sonic the Hedgehog 1 considering what I've seen, though it has some modern Sonic elements mixed in.

The only downside is the use of the D-word and calling God's name in vain. Other than that, it's awesome.

Haha... interesting

even more so due to the fact that for being a fan film the animation it isn't terrible but it's just bad enough to be unnerving

Hey, may not be the best but I think it's pretty good. Flaws here and there maybe, but for a fan-made film............

...no.

The Hunt for Gollum is a good fanmade film. Born of Hope too.

That was just...wow. I've never seen sonic look gayer.

Hey. I go to an art school. That is hard work, though not perfect. *sigh* Nobody cares about artists............and it's not just this fan film. IT's everyday. People only care about the movie. The end credits start rolling, people leave because they don't care about hard work. Everybody wants the project. No one cares for the creator............but then again, I have no right to talk about that.

...except that was hardly art. Go watch some Bergman or Tarkovsky.

Calling that art is like saying the twelve year old that draws a phallus on an abandoned warehouse is on the level of Banksy. It's stupid.
