Really, really good. The tone is a little inconsistent, and the story elements can get a tad heavyhanded in the "Care about these characters!" department, but it's overall a very slick shooter. The controls are perfect, and the graphics are awesome. The gameplay is a nice homage to the old days of FPS gaming, and manages to keep it entertaining even though the genre seems to have shifted towards cover-based mechanics. I strongly recommend it, but not at the $60 price point. Worth a rental, at the very least.

Also not for kiddos, it's got lots of blood and gore.

Saints Row III. Loved every minute. I literally just purchased the game out of boredom (it was something like $15 for the complete edition with all the DLC) and never expected to get more than a few hours out of it. But the game was a rock solid experience - hilarious (if ribald at times), as well as having one of the best campaigns I ever experienced. Seriously! It had those epic moments that you would expect in a CoD, but the humor managed to elevate the action and immersion even more.

I give the game a (very unexpected) 5/5.

Now I am working backwards and trying to complete GTA IV. I miss the witty humor of SR3, though (the humor in GTA IV is just too bitter and sarcastic for me).

Uh, this is actually a hard question for me, because i've played and 'finished' a lot of games, but I can't remember the last time I beat a game. See, i've started playing games like League of Legends (only way to beat it is to uninstall it) and Minecraft, which has an 'ending', but doesn't ever end, even so. And in all honesty, i've actually never faced the Ender Dragon in 5 years of minecrafting. Just never really cared enough about all that exp to go to the effort of doing it, even though i've been capable of doing the fight on many, many worlds. The only Minecraft boss ive beaten on my own is the Wither, on Normal difficulty. And that's because the Beacon is actually worth my time to want enough to endure that horrid boss fight.
